Formerly known as the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts, the organization selects around 700 scholarship recipients each year in dance, music, film, theater and other creative disciplines. With awards ranging up to $10,000, and prestigious alumni like actress Viola Davis and rapper Nicki Minaj, this is a must-apply for artists in 10th to 12th grades.
Princess Grace Foundation USA
The Princess Grace Foundation-USA is a non-profit, publicly-supported charity, headquartered in New York City and established 37 years ago by Prince Rainier III of Monaco to honor his wife, Princess Grace’s [Kelly] legacy. Their mission is dedicated to identifying and assisting emerging talent in theater, dance, and film by awarding grants in the form of scholarships, apprenticeships, and fellowships.
Educational Theatre Association
The Educational Theatre Association offers a variety of options to recognize student achievement through its scholarship opportunities. The application process opens each September Attendance at the International Thespian Festival is not required to apply for scholarships.
